Jennifer & Ryan

I am so excited to begin working with the newest clients to I Do Details Events, Jennifer and Ryan!
Ryan and Jennifer met at Taco Mac in Atlanta Ga. They were both there for dinner and he was actually sitting with someone she knew so they were introduced. They were practically inseparable for the rest of the night. After they kept running into each other out, he finally asked her out to a hockey game, and they have been together ever since. Even though Ryan and Jennifer both went to Clemson at the same time and have tons of mutual friends they never met until that night at Taco Mac.

A little over two and a half years later Ryan and Jennifer were driving back to Clemson for the home opening football game and he said he needed to go the field "to take pictures" for work, she reluctantly fell for it and once they got out of the car he got down on one knee and proposed at "the rock" (Clemson tradition). She was completely shocked and said "of course"!
Their wedding is going to be beautiful and tons of fun! I am looking forward to May! Congrats Jennifer and Ryan!

Wow Factor Cakes

Amy from Wow Factor Cakes is super talented and her cakes are delicious!!! I did a mock table for the Charlotte Wedding Connection and used Amy's Wowee Pops for my escort cards and they were a HUGE hit! Anna from Nuage Mulberry made the tags to go around the Wowee Pops and people just loved them! Wowee Pops are so delicious and can be customized to match your colors for your big day, party, or just to have around the house to munch on! Make sure to try these little pops that are truly a little piece of heaven! Thanks again Amy!

Wish Upon A Wedding

I am so excited to be attending the Blissful Wishes Ball on November 12th in Charlotte, NC, supporting Wish Upon A Wedding. Wish Upon a Wedding is the world’s first nonprofit wish granting organization providing weddings and vow renewals for couples facing terminal illness and serious life-altering circumstances. This organization offers couples a chance to enjoy a very special day, without any thoughts of existing health or other serious issues, while surrounded by their closest family and friends.

To make the Blissful Wishes Ball a success and to help grant the wish of the bride for the Charlotte Chapter, we need your help! Please take 3 minutes out of your busy day to watch this video, we would love to have your support!

Vendor Spotlight: Classic Party Rentals

I used Classic Party Rentals to rent my silver chavari chairs for my mock table for the bridal show, and they looked fabulous! I have enjoyed working with Classic for various events and they have just about everything that you would want to rent to make your event spectacular!
They are also doing something very special for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. For every pink cloth that is rented during the month of October, Classic will donate $5 to Susan G. Komen for the Cure. What a great way to support such a great cause.
Thanks again Classic!

Vendor Spotlight: Nuage Mulberry

I have blogged about Anna from Nuage Mulberry before, but I just can't stop tell you how talented she really is! I met with her to tell her my vision for my mock table at the bridal show and asked her to do my menu cards, place cards, table number, and the tags for the Wowee Pops! When I got the proofs I was so excited because her design was exactly what I wanted! Everything looked beautiful and it all came together on the table perfectly! My favorite part were the menu cards that we came up with that wrapped around the napkin...loved it! Be sure to contact her as she can customize anything!

Connie Duglin Linen

This is the linen that I used for the show! Pomegranate confetti!
I spotted the most AMAZING linen ever at the Ronald McDonald Fashion Show back in April and from that point on the search was on to find it! With some inside info from the fabulous Melissa Lamkin, I was introduced to Jodi at Connie Duglin Linens. I had the best time chatting with Jodi and browsing all of the wonderful linens that they have to offer! Be sure to check them out and look at all of the wonderful linens and services that they offer! Thank you so much for all of your wonderful linens for the show, they were a huge hit!

This Sunday I was a part of the Charlotte Wedding Connection Bridal Show. It was great meeting lots of wonderful brides and I look forward to beginning to work with some of them! I did a mock table in my booth and it couldn't have been done with out the talents of some of the wonderful vendors in Charlotte. So I thought that I would spotlight a different vendor each day who helped to make my table sparkle!
I used Nectar for my floral arrangement. Karisa is super talented and sweet and I really enjoyed meeting her through this process. Her adorable floral shop is located on N Davidson and her arrangements and ideas are awesome! I look forward to using her in the future!
Thanks again Karisa!
