While all jobs have their challenges, I think that teaching is one of the most challenging but yet rewarding jobs that you can have. It takes a special person to be a teacher. With the school year being over, I thought that it would be fun to celebrate with a dinner party honoring my teacher friends! We had a blast sharing stories and celebrating wonderful people! Valentine's Day Dinner Party!

I went to college at Elon University, and was so blessed to make the most AMAZING friends. I was also fortunate to move to Charlotte with 10 of them after school! Some have moved, but the majority of us are still here and it has been an absolute blast! As we all get busy in our lives, it is soooo important to reflect on the most important people in your lives; friends, family, significant others, whoever it may be. So a couple of years back I started the annual Valentine's Day Dinner Party to bring us all together for a dinner party full of good food, fun, and laughter! I wanted to share some of the pics from this years dinner party...Enjoy!

Secret Santa Holiday Party!

Every year my girlfriends and I get together and have a Secret Santa party. This year we decided to spice it up a little bit and do a a dinner party as well! I decided to host and wanted to make it a special and fun evening for all of us girls! After meeting with Jodi from Connie Duglin Linens, my color scheme came into play which was a silver and a deep wine color. My inspiration went from there. Anna from Nuage Mulberry did the beautiful menu cards as well as place cards which really added an elegant touch to everyone's place setting and Karisa from Nectar Floral Design did the AMAZING flowers that were on the table. We hung crystals from the ceiling which added an extra sparkle to the table and played in nicely with all of the candlelight and glassware. Some of the favorites from the evening was the food, gift exchange, company and friendship, and of course the hot chocolate bar to go! We all had a blast and I wanted to share some pictures from the evening!

Vendor Spotlight: Nuage Mulberry

I have blogged about Anna from Nuage Mulberry before, but I just can't stop tell you how talented she really is! I met with her to tell her my vision for my mock table at the bridal show and asked her to do my menu cards, place cards, table number, and the tags for the Wowee Pops! When I got the proofs I was so excited because her design was exactly what I wanted! Everything looked beautiful and it all came together on the table perfectly! My favorite part were the menu cards that we came up with that wrapped around the napkin...loved it! Be sure to contact her as she can customize anything!

Meet Anna!

Anna and I were introduced through a mutual friend, Erin McDermott. I first saw Anna’s work on her Etsy website when looking for a save the date for a client. After going back and forth with Anna and my client, she came up with a save the date that was perfect for them! She responded right away and her proofs came super fast, and she presented various ideas in sticking with the theme. I was so excited to have met such an awesome vendor so after this project was over we met for lunch to discuss our future endeavors.

Anna brought with her samples of her work and they are GEORGEOUS!!! She meets with a client, listens to what they want and then goes from there. Pictures don’t do her work justice, she uses various paper types and fonts that are beautiful and her work is truly one of a kind! She has just now launched her website so be sure to check out Nuage Mulberry.
